So when New York State Grown and Certified, an initiative connecting incredible farms and farm-adjacent businesses with people looking to buy safe, delicious, ethically-produced food grown by their own neighbors, we grabbed our cameras and jumped in the car. The result is a series of beautiful videos that show where these foods come from and the people who put their hearts and spirits into everything they do. In this video, you meet Guillermo and Jodie, two of the nicest people we've had the pleasure of interviewing. They tell the story of how their facility in the Hudson Valley is changing the food economy by connecting incredible workers with deeply rooted farmers to produce dozens of local, delicious products.
